When we were browsing through my collection,
Nel remarked that she might try a "big eyed"
look for contrast. Out came these bifocals in
"Agatha Christie" style. These cat eye glasses
are probably a much later remake, for they
looked brand new when I acquired them in the
UK, some ten years ago. Many elderly ladies
in England kept at cat eye glasses, a generation
after fashion had turned away from the style.
After seeing her wide eyed pictures in these
glasses, Nel decided that being a myope was not
so bad after all!
