Like Carla, the "High Myopic Girls" models in
Alain's work have a Rx that does not come anyhere
near the Rx in the myodisc and lenticular glasses
used during the photo shoots.
It's a challenge for both photographer and model
to achieve a fine portrait. The almost total lack of
visual communication calls for unusual navigation
instructions and patience.
We made no use of GOC, but Carla somehow managed
to give these portraits a natural flavour.
