
Another beautiful portrait of Marleen in mid 1980's
Silhouette bifocals. These glasses were also used
in my previous photo shoots with Clarine and
Farishta, both models with a higher Rx than the
lenses in these bifocals. Here, Marleen has the
advantage that the Rx in the glasses is nearly
right. Her vision here can be compared with a
person in need of plano glasses with an astigmatism
of about one diopter, under angles that differ about
90 degrees. As a result, the combined view of both
eyes is even better than the view of each eye on
its own. This nearly perfect match is a good example
of what my weblog is about
