High index lenses have their own advantages
compared to Lentilux myodiscs. Allright, there
are power rings and there is a strong "cut in"
effect, but the image of the eyes is undistorted
and the eyes come through anyway, even when
the minification by the lenses is about 30%.
I like the extra attention the lips receive in
portraits like this. This can be seen in extenso
in Alain's great work ("High Myopic Girls") and
also in some of my photo shoots with Astrid.
Here Farishta joins the small group of models
achieving that paradigm shift successfully
