Another wonderful portrait of Farishta in
"Lentilux" myodiscs from Germany, Rx -16
and -19. Again, there is no cut in effect and
there are no power rings. One can easily
imagine a lady's relief when she looks in the
mirror for the first time after buying Lentilux
glasses. On the negative side, I suspect that
it takes a long time to get used at the ghostly
images produced by the transition between
the safety of the corrective bowl and the
surrounding carrier lens. Farishta only had
to deal with Lentilux glasses for a couple of
minutes, but being dependent on them in real
life must be a different ball game alltogether!
