Farishta 398
Never forget to praise one's teachers! Three
years ago, I stumbled into the fascinating
website "High Myopic Girls" by Alain from
Paris, not knowing what to expect. His work
fascinated me straightaway and I spent many
hours admiring and then studying his way of
portraying girls and women in extreme glasses.
Aside from the unmistakable attention paid to
esthetics, I zoomed in on a couple of portraits
(Laetitia and Adèle spring to mind) revealing
a mysterious tiny half moon next to the model's
eye pointing away from the camera. It took me
a good bit of puzzling until I recognized that both
models were in glasses familiar to me. Lentilux!
So this portrait of young Farishta is dedicated
to the man from Paris who gave me - and many
others, no doubt - so much inspiration. Thanks
Alain, I do hope you will be back sometime!
