Silhouette started manufacturing glasses in 1964
and they had their international breakthrough in
the early 1970's. These early glasses are model 35.
Silhouette informed me about the manufacturing
years of a dozen of their glasses in my collection.
Model 40 was made in 1971 so it's safe to assume
that this model 35 was made in 1970 or 1971. Some
Silhouettes in my collection may be older but they
have no model number so there is no way of identification.
