Astrid 418
Back in the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's, some glasses
were designed especially for high myopes. The Lygo
and Bausch & Lomb glasses shown by Astrid earlier
in this photo shoot are great examples. Christian Dior
had some excellent frames as well, as can be seen in
my first photo shoot with Nel. The lenses in these old
glasses have a Rx between -10 and -14. If lenses of
-20 were required, the only remaining solution was
to equip them with myodiscs. No need for myodiscs
here, thanks to the small, highly unusual design of
the frame. Truely remarkable!
