The girl from Hamburg subsequently settled
in Holland and we had a relation in the mid
1990's. After emigrating again, she left the
"hippie" glasses in the house and that's how
they ended up in my collection. Made in the
early 1970's, the glasses have no anti-reflective
coating, so Hiska and I did some navigating to
obtain an effect of glare in the lenses without
obscuring her eyes.
By the way, the girl from Hamburg always
denied that she had ever been a hippie :).
The very idea!
