These antique glasses with folding arms were
bought in Switzerland. There were no lenses
in the frame. A friendly optician equipped them
with lenses in my reading prescription, using the
old method he learned during his training. Great!
I used them as readers until I needed a stronger
prescription. Made in the 1860's, the glasses are
the oldest pair in my collection
