The cat eye era is associated with rather extreme
frames, but opticians also sold lots of glasses with
more modest frames. This is a good example of what
could be seen in the streets of Amsterdam in my
childhood. Note the way the frame blends with the
colour of Astrid's eyes - or is it the other way round?
