Trick effect? No. At -16, these 1980's Marwitz
glasses are by no means the strongest glasses
in my collection, but they are equipped with 15
millimeters thick plastic lenses. This causes the
remarkable tunnel effect seen in these portraits.
Their first owner later switched to glasses with
high index lenses and must have felt relief - or
at least considerable improvement of wearing
comfort. Dear Nel, hat off for your wonderful
posing in these "impossible" glasses!
