Formlenti were invented in an esthetic attempt
to improve on the traditional myodiscs with a
circle shaped bowl. Admittedly, the impression
is one of decoration rather than "the only way left"
to accomodate high myopia. Another sophisticated
and intricate alternative (blended myodiscs or
Lentilux) was about to be invented when these
Formlenti glasses were made
