Marleen 182
Another gorgeous portrait of Marleen in glasses
made almost half a century ago. Photography was
usually done in black and white at the time. Colour
television only came in half a decade later. The nice
thing about black and white was that it left something
to one's imagination, just like reading old books in which
the looks of the characters were described into detail.
So these portraits in colour, taken by a digital camera
are a blend of the old and the new. I still have my first
camera (late 1950's) and it may be worth the experiment
doing some portraits the old way. But that's a project
for the future....
