The frame is beautiful and it seems designed for
the strong lenses that were all but extinct in the
streets of Amsterdam in my student days. This
element in design has now nearly disappeared as
the vast majority of high myopes chooses for laser
treatment or contacts. Here, the lenses don't stick
out at the back of the solid frame
