Portraits with hyperopes have an atmosphere
of their own and here's a fine example. The lenses
tend to push the image of the eyes outward instead
of inward as is the case with myopes. I once had a
relation with a lady from Ireland who was a much
higher hyperope (Rx +7 to +8) and her comment
when I made pictures of her was, "sometimes it looks
as if I have no eyes at all". Charlotte at Rx +5 has a
slightly milder prescription and so I set off to see where
the limits were. Here's a one eyed, still lovely portrait
