The lenses in these 1980's "Donna" Rodenstock
bifocals differ over two diopters and that's why
they worked well for Marleen who said she could
see well through them. The lens in front of her
left eye provides sharpness in the vertical direction
and the much stronger lens in front of her right eye
adds focus in the horizontal direction. Marleen is in
no shortage of brains, so her brains did the rest and
produced this beautiful portrait without cylinders
