Farishta in mid 1960's glasses, Rx -12. Strong
glasses like these were seen frequently in the
streets of Amsterdam in my youth and there was
at least one girl in every class that had glasses
above minus ten. It all changed drastically when
contact lenses became available in the late 1960's
