Astrid leading us back to eyeware fashion as
it was some 45 years ago. Many girls could be
seen in the streets of Amsterdam, wearing
frames like this. Contact lenses were not as
popular as they would become in the 1970's
and as a result, high myopic girls and women
wore glasses like these. I read somewhere that
about 2% of the population is over -10 and in
some Asian countries, the percentage is higher.
The solid frames of the mid 1960's concealed
some of the lens thickness
