Perhaps ten years ago, I came across these
glasses and recognized them straightaway from
the optician's shops in my schooldays. They are
really made of wood - or a material that comes
close to wood. The shape of the androgynous
(nowadays: unisex) frame is another memory
of the mid 1960's when fashion was moving away
from the cat eye era
