A recent comment from Eye Scene about my
weblog applies especially to this lovely portrait
of Astrid in high Rx 1970's Lozza glasses:
"So many times I have walked past women
wearing interesting glasses over the years and
then forgotten them. Now looking at these, they
are half-remembered".
Another appopriate quote is from Seámus Ennis
(1919-1982), the famous uilleann piper and story
teller from Finglas, North County Dublin:
"Memories are sometimes vague, sometimes vivid.
In this particular case, it's a vivid one".
I could not agree more!
