A beautiful portrait of Rachel in myodisc glasses,
Rx -21. Unlike lenticular glasses, myodiscs are
straightforward in showing the extreme Rx.
Like in Alain's work, some models have the
ability to give these unusual portraits a natural feel.
Rachel did a splendid job during this photo shoot
which lasted nearly three hours.
Lenticular lenses (for minus wearers) ARE myodiscs. For plus wearers, lenticulars look like a fried egg--they have a "bubble" in the center of the lens that contains the + power....
