Kreislenti are the earliest type of myodiscs. An
alternative, Formlenti, was invented in the late
1960's and another very flattering alternative
called Lentilux became available in the late 1970's.
These vintage Kreislenti myodiscs were among my
first acquisitions when I started collecting glasses
at the Amsterdam "Waterlooplein" flea market in
the early 1970's
