Astrid and I agreed to do a "quatro staggioni"
series of photo shoots, so it seemed appropriate
to use prescription sunglasses for her summer
photo shoot. I don't really collect sunglasses but
a shoe box was filled gradually over the years.
When I suggested this box to Astrid, she was all
go for it. She does not need glasses at all, but she
always likes to fit new sunglasses.
This pair of Nina Ricci glasses was acquired near
Lake Geneva some ten years ago. One problem
with sunglasses is that some are so dark that the
model's eyes are almost invisible. Another problem
is the amount of glare in the lenses, revealing yours
truly at work. Anyway, the glasses are great and
so is the model!
