Lovely Nanda in 1992 S. Lux glasses which were
part of a threesome. Their first owner bought
three identical frames (in blue, red and brown)
and two pairs of lenses (one pair being sunglasses).
This may sound complicated, but the trick was that
the lenses could be switched from one pair into the
other without much effort. The blue frame was
hardly ever used and the brown frame was for the
sunglasses. She used the threesome until 1994,
two years before we met. You may wonder what
happened to the Stig varifocals. She presented them
to me in 2000 when her myopia decreased, almost
to the mild level it had been at until the late 1980's.
