The photo shoot with Marleen was a real challenge
because of her highly unusual Rx. When checking
my collection I came across seven glasses with
strong horizontal cylinders, three glasses quite
near the model's own Rx and four glasses that were
one or two diopters off. By coincidence, four of
these seven glasses turned out to be Silhouettes
and one a Christian Dior. Beautiful and no doubt,
expensive glasses when they were bought by their
first owners. I told Marleen that she was a young
lady with an expensive taste. The original total price
of the seven glasses is about the equivalent of what
is paid for a good second hand car! Marleen looks
great in these Silhouette glasses, so it's fair to
speak of priceless portraits....
