Marleen 022
Marleen in 1990's Silhouette glasses, showing the
effect of horizontal cylinders. The lenses are nearly
plano and the cylinders are just over -3 which comes
close to the cylinders in the model's own glasses.
The effect from the model's side of the glasses is a
myopia of three diopters in the left eye and less than
two diopters in the right eye. This accounts for the
slightly impressionist look. The distance between
model and camera is some three feet which is the
equivalent of one diopter. The right eye is "leading"
in these portraits because the right lens is closer to
the model's own Rx than the left lens
