Another fine portrait of Mieke in Lentilux
glasses from Germany. Note the characteristic
half moon next to the model's right eye. The
advantage of this lens system is the reduced
lens thickness at the edges and the absence
of power rings and "cut in" effects. One of the
disadvantages of Lentilux is the distortion of
the image near the rim of the glasses, caused
by the slightly positive carrier lens. This can be
seen in the left lens
