Even in a modest minus four to five Rx, the lenses
in these huge 1970's rimless glasses are almost a
centimeter thick. My future wife bought similar
glasses around 1979. Her Rx was higher than the
lenses Lettie is looking through and even if times
were more liberal about lens thickness, she got a
few remarks about how she looked when seen
"en profil" and she was not pleased!
