Most of my indications about the age of glasses
are an educated guess. But an identical frame
was in many old portraits of a great lady who
was my partner for five or six years near the
turn of the century. One day I suggested to her
that we could make a photo collage of our lives.
Together we selected pictures from the cradle
till the day we met, and started putting years
on each of them. It resulted in a big "collage" of
some 250 photos, arranged by chronology. The
upper part contained my pictures, and her own
pictures filled the lower part. My partner bought
these Silhouette glasses around 1984 and she put
them aside when her myopia started increasing.
