Oval frames were a novelty in 1966 and only
elderly people remembered the tiny metal oval
frames of the early 1900's. A classmate chose
this very frame. In the 1980's, I came across these
glasses at the Amsterdam flea markt and checked
the lenses. They were not hers, the Rx was too
high. It makes no difference to the sweet memory!
