These Lentilux glasses from Germany show
a lot of wear and tear, indicating that they
were used for many years by their first owner,
no doubt a lady with courage. The contrast
between the 40% minification of the eyes by
the bowl and the magnification by the carrier
lens is shown in extremis here. Note the way
the lips look bigger - just another optical
illusion!
