Another characteristic feature of cataract
glasses - and strong plus glasses in general -
is shown here by Hiska. Seen from aside,
the image of the eyes is pushed away from
the center of the lenses.
In the early 1990's I had a relation with a
very longsighted woman from Dublin and
she remarked that in some pictures "I look
as if I have no eyes at all". Her Rx was only
about + 8 but her frames were much bigger
